The purpose of the Technology Leadership & Strategy Initiative (TLSI) a distinctive, leadership network of chief technology officers from industry, academia and national laboratories incubated by the Council on Competitiveness is to understand a range of changes, challenges and opportunities facing the United States and to design a new paradigm for public-private partnership necessary to supporting America's future technology leadership.
The goals of the TLSI are straightforward:
For the past three years, the TLSI has suggested ways to strengthen America's technology leadership through an ongoing, progressive dialogue and a series of cutting-edge reports, surveys and conferences. The TLSI Overview and its 3-volume set of 6 reports, Change, Explore, Energize, Examine, Optimize, and Resolve document the ongoing efforts of the TLSI, its key recommendations, and a path forward to ensure long-term U.S. competitiveness
