As part of this broader initiative, the Council is focusing conversations in 2017 around developing concrete solutions to ensure America is investing in the talent, technology and infrastructure necessary for continued innovation, manufacturing and value creation for U.S. competitiveness.
The AEMC Partnership aims to:
- Increase U.S. competitiveness in the production of clean energy products: Strategically invest in technologies that leverage American competitive advantages and overcome competitive disadvantages.
- Increase U.S. manufacturing competitiveness across the board by increasing energy productivity: Strategically invest in technologies and practices to enable U.S. manufacturers to increase their competitiveness through energy efficiency, combined heat and power.
