The National Engineering Forum (NEF) movement, created by Lockheed Martin and in partnership with the Council on Competitiveness, hosted 19 regional dialogues across the country and built a community of leaders focused on finding solutions to a core set of challenges facing the U.S. engineering enterprise: capacity, capability, and competitiveness – the 3C’s. Participants represented stakeholder groups that are best positioned to address the challenges and enable a dynamic view of the past, present, and future of American engineering.
